Happy Chinese New Year!

Welcome to the Year of the Monkey! I hope you all had a great time gathering and eating with family and friends. Forget the diet and calories; just indulge yourself with good food, that’s what festivals meant to be!

And here is my new indulgence: Meringue With Chocolate Sauce! I know it is not Chinese, but when it comes to dessert, I would prefer western, and who cares as long as it is delicious, right? Besides, I desperately wanted to try out my new creamers, so the chocolate sauce just worked perfectly!




A lot of my friends in the pottery workshop, especially those tea enthusiasts, would call it a tea pitcher, or 公道杯 in Chinese. But I am not a tea person, and I don’t like to be too specific on the usage of the things that I make, so whether it is a creamer, a jug or a tea pitcher, I prefer to leave it open.
